The Conference: Workshop Proposal
Call for Papers and Workshops
Continuing the tradition of the National Christian Multicultural Student Leaders Conference, the Planning Committee for future Conferences invites you to submit a paper or workshop proposal.
Concurrent Presentations from a Christian perspective are sought to effectively educate, inform, and encourage college students about ethnic diversity and leadership. Student presenters are welcome if accompanied by faculty and/or staff presenters.
Workshop Tracks should include:
- Cross Cultural Issues and Trends
- Inter-Cultural Communication
- Student Leadership
- Christian Community Development
- Ethnic and Identity Development
- Contemporary Societal Issues
- Students Impacting their Campuses
- Social and Economic Justice Issues
Presenters are required to:
- Prepare a workshop for a minimum 1 hour and with an additional 15 minutes reserved for questions or interactive discussion.
- Bring useful handouts and resource materials that participants can take back to their campuses.
- Submit a 150-word, typed summary of the proposed workshop along with a cover sheet that includes a brief biographical sketch, name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address to:
- Be sure to include workshop title, descriptive summary that states the workshop's purpose, content, methods, audiovisual needs, intended audience, intended outcome, and how it relates to the Conference theme.
